Fashion is a device I use as a philosophy to decipher social sensibilities. My research has been heavily based in contemporary literature and art, with a strong emphasis on surrealist conjunctions and moral attentiveness. My current focus lies on developing the discourse around the Flânuese, excavating examples of such in the works of female photographers.
The development of fashion theory is something I consider myself a part of. Like a forensic fashion detective, I enjoy tracking down fashions in spaces we don’t necessarily associate with the word - identities, language, bodies, etc. Here, I observe and digest the curious stories that compel the complex narratives of today.
